The Dissociatives

The Dissociatives came about when in 2000, Daniel Johns and DJ/producer/mixer Paul Mac (of Itchee and Scratchee fame) decided to get together and see what kind of music they could produce. The result was a five-track EP called "I Can't Believe It's Not Rock!". They had no name at the time because they only thought it would be a one-off.

How wrong they were. They have since got together again, called themselves The Dissociatives, and this time recorded a self titled debut album, which features the then frequently played single 'Somewhere Down The Barrel'.
